Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor and Contract Real Estate Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing project costs, contracts, and budgets while gaining valuable experience in the real estate development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Support the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiation.
- Monitor project expenditures and financial performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and payment applications.
- Assist in risk management and reporting on project performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
- Relevant internship or work experience in construction or real estate development is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
