- A person with experience in procurement/project cargo in freight forwarding company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, logistic or related field;
- • Having minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement / Project Cargo;
- • Experience in handling Landing Craft Tank (LCT) or Barge project;
- • Have a good communication skill in English (Speaking and Writing);
- • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects;
- • Record of successful distribution and logistics management;
- • Understanding of procurement and export/import processes, policy and systems;
- • Create sourcing strategies and calculate budgeting for any projects;
- • Strong negotiation skill, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- • Administrative work related to vendor database;
- • Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- • Responsible as procurement professional to ensure that a business has a constant supply of materials, equipment or service;
- • Research potential vendors, manage the activities of non-inventory purchasing to vendors both regionally and locally;
- • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions;
- • Work to achieve cost savings through effective negotiation, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing;
- • Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards;
- • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and pricing to make informed procurement decisions;
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations and finance teams, to align procurement activities with business objectives;
- • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, ensuring a resilient and reliable supply chain;
- • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
