Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment:
Identifying and evaluating risks that could affect the organization’s financial reporting and operations.
Control Design and Implementation:
Developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
Monitoring and Testing:
Regularly assessing the effectiveness of internal controls through testing and monitoring activities.
Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Reporting:
Communicating findings and recommendations to management and the board of directors, often through reports or presentations.
Continuous Improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement in internal controls and recommending enhancements as necessary.
Collaboration:
Working closely with other departments, such as finance and audit, to ensure a cohesive approach to internal controls.
Requirements:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience in internal auditing, risk management, or internal controls, usually ranging from 2 years.
Communication:
Able communication in English.
