- We are currently looking for a Retail Expansion Specialist to support our growth in the high-end beauty industry. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about luxury beauty brands and expertise in identifying prime retail locations, we want to connect with you!
Type of Employment:
Freelance / Part-Time / Full-Time*
- *Open to discussion (Full-time with a short-term contract; Part-time/Freelance if candidates open to flexible arrangements.)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys of potential new locations for offline stores in Indonesia, assessing their feasibility and suitability for the company’s expansion criteria.
- Collect and analyze data on site conditions, such as topography, zoning regulations, accessibility, infrastructure, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on the suitability of each location, including potential challenges and risks.
- Work closely with other teams to identify and evaluate new locations in Indonesia.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in retail and real estate in Indonesia.
Objective & Key Results:
- Identify and evaluate potential new locations for offline stores in Indonesia that meet the company’s expansion criteria.
- Ensure that all new locations in Indonesia are safe, accessible, and compliant with local regulations.
- Contribute to the development of successful new store openings in Indonesia that meet the company’s financial and operational goals.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in surveying up to proposing locations for offline retail expansion for premium and/or luxury brands in Jakarta.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to different locations in Jakarta for site surveys.
