Job Descriptions:
- •Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for MEP works based on drawing, specifications and other project requirements
•Quantity Take-Offs:
Measure and quantify the materials, labor, and equipment required for MEP installations
- •Assist in the tendering process, including preparing and analyzing tender documents, evaluating bids, and point-out any concerns from Employer perspective during contract issuance process
- •Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identify cost overruns or saving opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- •Assess and price variations and change orders related to MEP works, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved
- •Administer contracts related to MEP works, including reviewing contract terms, processing payments, and resolving contractual disputes
- •Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, quality and schedule for MEP works
- •Provide value engineering solutions to optimize costs without compromising quality or performance
- •Maintain regular communication with Asset Facilities team, Consultants, Contractors, Suppliers and other project stakeholders regarding cost-related matters
- •Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP works.
Qualification:
- •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- •Proffesional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- •Minimum of 1 years experience in MEP QS and engineering, preferably in educational or similar facilities
- •Experience in preparing and reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates including methods and tools required by MEP systems
- •Ability to develop bill of quantities (BoQ) and determine provisional quantities for tender purposes
- •Knowledge of local building codes, regulations and standards
- •Good analytical thinking and detail-oriented
- •Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in construction terminologies
- •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- •Having time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- •Familiarity with quantity surveying software, as well as general office software such as Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu is a plus
- •Willing to work on-site at Sinarmas World Academy, BSD – South Tangerang
