Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Process Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and achieving production targets while optimizing costs. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of excellence within the production team.
  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a refinery or similar industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a production team in a high-volume manufacturing or processing facility.
  • In-depth knowledge of refinery operations, production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
  • trong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is preferred.
  • Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

Oversee all aspects of the refinery’s production processes, ensuring that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Production Planning:

Develop and implement production schedules to meet company targets and customer demands, optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications, implementing quality control measures and addressing any production issues.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains, implementing best practices and new technologies where applicable.

Inventory Management:

Monitor raw material and finished product inventories, ensuring adequate supply levels and coordinating with procurement and logistics teams.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as yield, output, quality, and downtime, to senior management.

Budget Management:

Manage the production budget, controlling costs while maintaining high production standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production processes, equipment reliability, and workforce skills development.

Crisis Management:

Quickly address and resolve any production-related issues, minimizing impact on operations.
