Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- – Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers (Linux & Windows Server).
- – Manage server backups, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- – Support and administer server-related services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- – Install, configure, and manage VMware environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- – Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machines, storage, and networking within VMware.
- – Implement and manage network routing, NAT, VPN, and firewall rules on Mikrotik devices.
- – Assist with the deployment and management of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- – Maintain domains and manage Cloudflare hosting (experience with Cloudflare is a plus).
- – Collaborate with the IT team to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- – Document IT system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements:
- – Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- – At least 2-4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- – Experience with Windows/Linux server administration, including AD, DNS, DHCP.
- – Proficiency in VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related virtualization technologies.
- – Strong knowledge of Mikrotik routers, switches, and firewall configurations.
- – Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and IT security best practices.
- – Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
- – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional after-hours support.
- – Availability for on-call support as needed.
