Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Application Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by conducting manual and automated testing(optional). You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify issues, ensure the application meets specifications, and enhance user experience.
- Job Description
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand the functionality and business logic of applications.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure backend services are functioning as expected.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to provide QA insights.
- Verify data integrity by writing and executing SQL queries to check databases for correctness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and workflows.
- Document test results, prepare detailed reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Support automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts (if applicable).
- Requirement
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
- Experience with SQL and querying databases.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent (if applicable).
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to work in BSD, Tangerang with fully WFO.
