Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare and update blueprints, schematics, and technical documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company requirements.
- Revise designs and drawings based on feedback or design changes.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings and ensure version control.
- Coordinate with project and construction teams to clarify drawing details when needed.
- Assist with material take-offs (MTOs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
- Support quality control by reviewing drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and accuracy.
- Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering standards
- Knowledge of construction processes and methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with engineers and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with document management systems and drawing version control.
- Experience with civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural projects.
