Job Overview:

  • The Head of Accounting will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with leadership capabilities to manage the accounting team and work closely with other departments to ensure the hotel’s financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • 2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
  • 3. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • 4. Lead financial audits and manage external audit processes.
  • 5. Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with all government regulations.
  • 6. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and reporting systems.
  • 7. Collaborate with management on strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • 8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a productive and ethical working environment.
  • 9. Liaise with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Opera) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to team management.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
