Job Overview:
- The Head of Accounting will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with leadership capabilities to manage the accounting team and work closely with other departments to ensure the hotel’s financial stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- 2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
- 3. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- 4. Lead financial audits and manage external audit processes.
- 5. Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with all government regulations.
- 6. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and reporting systems.
- 7. Collaborate with management on strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- 8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a productive and ethical working environment.
- 9. Liaise with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Opera) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to team management.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
