Job Description
- In this Role, you’ll get to
- Provide legal support for corporate governance, business operations, and others in Indonesia. This includes assisting with company registration changes, qualification applications, licensing applications, daily operational contract reviews, labor compliance consultations and others.
- Conduct compliance assessments, draft, negotiate, and finalize terms and conditions, as well as commercial contracts for various things.
- Establish and optimize legal systems and processes, while providing internal compliance training.
- Protect, defend and represent the company in external engagements with government authorities, regulators, and other external parties.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, develop and execute strategies to accomplish company’s business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
- Monitor, analyze and advise on applicable local laws and regulations relating to data privacy and protection and their impact on local operations
- What you’ll Need to Succeed
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or above
- Possess proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a law firm and in house corporate environment within a fast paced environment with prior exposure to international assignments being advantageous.
- Ideally with at least one IAPP certification. CIPM or CIPP/E is preferred.
- Exhibit strong cross-team, cross-department communication, and organizational collaboration skills.
- Self-starter, able and willing to independently conduct research on a wide range of legal and regulatory developments.
- Experience or strong interest in F&B, Department Store, and related field is preferred.
