  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage the application, renewal, and compliance of environmental licenses and permits.
  • Maintain accurate records of all licenses, permits, and associated documentation.
  • Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Report on compliance status and environmental performance to management.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for staff on environmental policies and procedures.
  • Promote awareness of environmental issues and best practices within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, safety, legal) to integrate environmental considerations into business processes.
  • Liaise with external regulatory agencies and stakeholders on compliance matters.

Requiremenst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Law, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or compliance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with licensing and regulatory requirements in relevant industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Relevant legal or environmental certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to be working in Tarakan, North Kalimantan.
