- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
- Manage the application, renewal, and compliance of environmental licenses and permits.
- Maintain accurate records of all licenses, permits, and associated documentation.
- Prepare and submit required environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Report on compliance status and environmental performance to management.
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff on environmental policies and procedures.
- Promote awareness of environmental issues and best practices within the organization.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, safety, legal) to integrate environmental considerations into business processes.
- Liaise with external regulatory agencies and stakeholders on compliance matters.
Requiremenst:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Law, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or compliance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with licensing and regulatory requirements in relevant industries is preferred.
- Strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Relevant legal or environmental certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional) are a plus.
- Knowledge of environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to be working in Tarakan, North Kalimantan.
