Position Summary:

The Sales Manager for the Theme Park is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive ticket sales, group bookings, and special events. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, identifying new market opportunities, and maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques. The Sales Manager will work closely with the marketing team to create promotions that enhance visitor engagement and attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase park attendance.
  • Identify new market segments and opportunities for growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and group organizers.
  • Conduct sales presentations and negotiations to secure group bookings and partnerships.

Market Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and behaviors.

Collaboration with Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that support sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate special events and packages to attract diverse audiences.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and support to achieve sales goals.
  • Set performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service during the sales process and follow-up.
  • Address client concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the tourism or entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
