Job Description
- Helio Synar Energi (“Helio”) is a subsidiary of Bakrie Power (“BP”), a power plant developer company that was established in 1994 and which is part of PT Bakrie and Brothers Tbk.
- Helio together with BP has completed the construction of several photovoltaic (“PV”) power plants. The latest powerplants that BP delivered was Selayar Hybrid PV 1.3 MWp (commercial operation in December 2021).
Now, we are looking for a talented and passionate Financial Analyst to join our team, and here are the qualifications we are looking for:
Job Description:
- As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the company’s financial data, providing strategic insights, and supporting accurate financial decision-making. You will collaborate with various teams to prepare financial models for projects, identify financial trends, project future financial outcomes, and prepare reports that support the company’s financial planning and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Planning and Budgeting:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor the budget and identify variances from the plan.
3. Financial Forecasting:
- Develop financial models for future projections and assess the financial impact of various business scenarios.
- Develop financial models for long-term and short-term projects and work with relevant teams to identify related risks.
- Analyze the impact of investment decisions and business strategies.
4. Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare financial reports for management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to managers and the executive team.
5. Compliance and Control:
- Ensure that all analyses and reports comply with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to meet compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (such as CFA) is a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related position.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in mathematics and statistics, proficiency in English, the ability to use financial analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI software), and strong communication skills.
Qualities:
- Detail-oriented, proactive, able to work under pressure, and possess strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
