- Designing and developing automation scripts to validate the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software products.
- A solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Integrating automation testing protocols with existing code and engineering processes.
- Analyzing problems, diagnosing root causes, and resolving defects.
- Working closely with development teams to create automation strategies and deployment processes
- Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks and processes.
- Maintaining documentation for automated processes, test results, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the product.
- Reporting results and feedback to software development teams and stakeholders.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years work experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with test automation tools like Katalon, Appium, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies especially on mobile and web applications
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Automation Specialist can be advantageous
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
- Well versed with agile, scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Golang
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and able to work under tight timeline
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Parallel run testing on multiple devices is a plus
