Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pit control strategies that optimize resource extraction and align with production goals.
- Analyze geological and operational data to inform decisions on pit design, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including geology, engineering, and operations, to coordinate activities and enhance productivity.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on pit performance, production forecasts, and operational challenges to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or other relevant majors.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in pit control or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in pit control software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
