Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance team and oversee all aspects of financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and team management. In this role, you will ensure accuracy in financial records, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring compliance with financial standards.
- Lead the accounting team in performing daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, providing insights to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve financial performance.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
