Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A technical background in construction or engineering can be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of sales experience in the building materials industry, specifically with products like mortar, cement, adhesives, or other construction-related goods.
- Experience in modern trade (MT) channels, dealing with hardware stores, retail chains, or construction outlets.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of building materials, particularly mortar products, their application, and their technical aspects.
- Proven experience in driving sales within the building materials industry, managing pricing strategies, and executing promotions effectively.
- Ability to manage and maintain relationships with key accounts and larger retail or distribution partners.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor products, and consumer needs within the construction and building materials sector.
- Field supervision experience, including overseeing store promotions, product displays, and managing relationships with retail partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with modern outlet managers, customers, and internal teams.
