Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 or 3 years of experience in network security or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Fortinet products, particularly FortiGate firewalls.
- Minimum NSE 4 certification (Fortinet Network Security Expert).
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain FortiGate firewalls and other Fortinet products.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using FortiGate tools.
- Implement security policies and access controls to safeguard customer’s network.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues.
- Collaborate with Customer’s IT teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and Fortinet product features.
- Document configurations, processes, and incidents as needed.
