Roasting:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of coffee roasting processes, ensuring adherence to established roast profiles, customer needs and Group’s quality standards.
- Work closely with sales team to understand B2B client needs and to tailor roast profiles to their brand and market expectations.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in roasting operations, process, efficiency, and product quality.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to B2B clients regarding coffee equipment, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Leading the technical team, ensuring continuous skill development and performance improvement.
- Ensure prompt and effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, repairs, and technical assistance for customers and partners.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Significant experience in a senior roasting role, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Extensive experience in coffee roasting, with a proven track record of producing high-quality roasted coffee beans.
- Experience working in a B2B context and understanding the dynamics of client relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Technical expertise in coffee equipment maintenance with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of coffee machine models, including roasting machines, espresso machines, auto coffee machines and grinders.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee beans, roast profiles, and flavor characteristics.
- Excellent sensory evaluation skills and the ability to tailor roasting profiles to meet client preferences.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Fluency in English will be an advantage
