- Develop comprehensive retail loss & prevention policies in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular analysis and monitoring of the retail portfolio to identify emerging loss and opportunities.
- Lead meetings and committees focused on residual value loss management initiatives.
- Develop and implement robust fraud prevention and detection strategies for retail products.
- Investigate and monitor fraud cases, employing proactive measures to mitigate loss effectively.
- Compile reports for executive audiences, highlighting trends, patterns, and mitigation efforts.
- Coordinate meetings and committees to address fraud-related concerns and strategies.
- Review existing loss infrastructure to ensure seamless implementation of retail loss policies and underwriting processes.
- Review and refine retail loss policies, establishing detailed operational processes to support policy implementation.
- Conduct thorough testing of retail loss underwriting systems, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide comprehensive support for all activities related to new product launches and loss readiness assessments.
- JOB SPECIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in loss business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent presentation skills with the capability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in retail loss & prevention management, preferably with a background in the department store/supermarket retail industry.
