  • About The Role
  • Our client is seeking a Head of HR who will act as a true business partner to the leadership team, reporting directly to the owner. The chosen candidate will take full ownership of all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and performance management to culture building and generalist HR operations. This role involves creating a strong HR foundation to support the company’s aggressive growth plans.
  • The Head of HR will lead HR efforts across multiple functions, collaborating with department heads to recruit key positions, finalize the implementation of the OKR (Objectives & Key Results) framework, and ensure that people processes align with the company’s long-term strategic goals. This is a hands-on position in a startup environment that requires agility, strong business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • What You Will Do

As the Head of HR for our client, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead and execute recruitment strategies to hire key positions critical to the company’s growth, ensuring fast yet quality hires.
  • Performance Management Finalize and implement the OKR framework by year-end, driving alignment across teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Culture & Employee Engagement Design and promote programs that cultivate a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • HR Policy & Compliance Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Business Partnering Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, offering insights and recommendations on people-related initiatives to support the company’s growth.
  • Generalist HR Functions Manage all day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and payroll, ensuring the smooth functioning of the HR department.
  • Change Management Lead HR initiatives and transformations in a highly dynamic environment where priorities and needs may shift frequently. Your ability to deal with ambiguity and drive HR projects will be key.
  • What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, our client is looking for candidates with:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with 2-3 years in a leadership or senior manager capacity.
  • Proven track record in recruitment and talent acquisition in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Experience with performance management systems such as OKRs or other frameworks is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business acumen—ability to understand and align HR strategy with overall business goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a direct approach, able to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment where priorities can change frequently.
  • Hands-on experience in all facets of HR operations, from recruitment to employee relations to policy development.
