Job Description
- BU Procurement Manager leads Procurement activities of the country for Coatings organization through team of Procurement Specialist; executes the sourcing strategy at local level and is the interface with local business , suppliers and sites.
- Part of Regional Procurement Management team
- Face of the organization for local suppliers
- Effective execution of TCO & Supplier collaboration projects
- Key procurement interface with BU local / regional stakeholders and act as first escalation interface to handle local issue.
- Key participant in the IBP Process of the region
- Drives local change management and continuous improvements projects to improve suppliers’ QDCIS performances.
- Manages local, plant specific suppliers.
- Strategies, Negotiation for Tail spend materials for the respective region
Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the local delivery of sourcing strategy
- Is responsible for RM, PM Supply Management and manage supply risk .
- Member of country/BU Management Team
- Key contributor and Network holder for country IBP Process from Procurement
- Delivery of PR and NPR savings in coordination with Sourcing team
- Complete management of Tail spend for the country
- Management of Service, Price entries, Master data governance
- Contributes to regional or global sourcing strategies with local requirements
- Is key-interface with Local and Regional stakeholders at site; Supply Chain, RD&I, Commercial and Marketing
- Acts as the first escalation interface to handle local supplier issues
- Drives the local change management which regards to QDCIS projects, supports and drives Value Engineering savings projects locally. Drives Material cost reduction initiatives locally
- Manages country specific suppliers, included supplier development
- Contributes to and leads local continuous improvement.
- Budget process integration
- Response for annual Procurement KPIs
Job Requirements:
- Professional
- Bachelor Degree required (Additional degree in Materials & Purchasing Management, International trade is preferred)
- Must have worked as People Manager
- Successful, multi-year track record in Procurement and Supplier Management
- Technical
