Job Description
- Able to speak in English / Mandarin .
- Docking Project
- • Inspecting vessel condition and preparing Dock Repair List, project schedule planning. Reporting progress of on-going project as per actual condition.
- • Directing sub-contractors working on the project. Making sure the project going well and on time with minimum mistake. Finished docking projects within 40 days on average.
• Quality control:
visual inspection of dimension, fit-up, welding, and coating; witness ND testing on shafts and propellers, witness any other measurements.
- • Attending sea trial, making sure there is no outstanding work regarding mechanical and electrical.
- New Building Project
- • Monitoring project and making sure the project going well and on time.
• Quality control:
visual inspection of dimension, fit-up, welding, and coating.
• Witness any class inspection:
internal tank inspection, ND testing of shafts and propellers, watertightness test (air test, hose test, hydro test), ME/AE safety devices test, and any other inspections.
- • Witness commissioning of mechanical and electrical. Making sure all equipment working well.
- • Attending sea trial, making sure the vessel performed well as its specification.
- Operating Vessel
- • Attending monthly inspection to make sure all vessels are in good condition.
- • Checking and monitoring vessel requisition from crew.
- • Damage inspection after incident. Estimating costs caused by the damage.
- • Coordinating and supervising emergency repair after incident.
- • Monitor the fuel consumption and LO of each vessel so that not
- exceed the existing usage standard.
- • Inspect to ship at least 2 weeks to check the performance of main
- engine, AE, and maintenance on the deck.
- • Provide advice on crew engine if there are problems in the engine.
- • Monitor the plan maintenance system on the ship to run in
- accordance with running hours of the maker.
- • Monitor the implementation of the engine overhaul and provide
- reports to management.
- • Checking every request from ship of both deck and engine to
- reduce ship maintenance cost.
- • Checking every request of bunker FO, LO, FW so as not being too
- big and to reduce operational cost.
- • Inspection (review) and analysis of every request for spare parts and materials from the ship in accordance with the needs and the level of urgency.
