- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related tools.
- Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations for optimal performance.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and privileges, ensuring database security best practices are followed.
- Continuously monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage high availability solutions such as Oracle
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, and Data Pump.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
