Job Description:
- Review technical plans and prepare quantity needs.
- Estimate the quantity and costs of materials (BOQ).
- Analyse costs for additional “Change Order” needs and keep track of construction materials and inventory.
- Collaborate with the project team and vendor to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify that materials and workmanship meet specified quality standards.
- Monitor the construction process to ensure compliance with regulations and technical requirements.
- Review, analyze, and manage technical documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and inspection reports.
- Compile regular quality reports and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
- Coordinate feasibility studies and arrange for necessary structural testing as required.
- Participate in efforts to continuously improve quality management systems and construction processes
Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree of civil engineering with a minimum GPA 3.00.
- 2 years of general construction QA or QS function experience, or related field, but fresh graduate can be cosidered.
- Use applications/software to produce civil assesments and calculations, e.g. AutoCAD.
- Expert in calculating progress work, step and compare it between plan and actual progress.
- Experienced in material checking, inspection phase procedure would be desirable.
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Coordination, negotiation, and monitoring of delivery dates.
