  • 1. As committed to the results and progress of RLU in order to achieve the ambitions of the Operational Excellence.
  • 2. Together with MMW manager, he/she engages and mobilizes the production manager to give meaning to and define the ambitions and the transformation plan towards Operational Excellence for the RLU (including, for example, depending on the activity maturity, MAPP and the reduction of variations).
  • 3. He/she guarantees the depth of the production system. With the help of self-assessments, diagnoses and his/her presence in the field, he/she ensures that the management chain takes into account the actions required at the right level to ensure the progress and sustainability of the production system. Everyone in RLU is involved in achieving these results and he/she alerts managers to any drift or difficulty in applying the production system.
  • 4. He/she is able to anticipate strategic developments in terms of operations and behaviors resulting from the VSM and is able to alert and guide the management team on its operations in the event of drift.
  • 5. In collaboration with the MMW manager, he/she helps the ED to identify the projects needed to improve and shift performance and ensures that qualified facilitators are available locally or regionally to carry them out. He/she may himself/herself be the coordinator of certain tools.
  • 6. He/she is the point of reference for this transformation process.
  • 7. He/she contributes to the proposed changes to the production system.
  • 8. He/she is certified to a minimum Green Belt standard and ensures that the production system serves to reduce variations.
  • 9. Expertise in the production system and leadership skills, he/she supports and mentors the DS and the entire management chain, by means of situational observations, on the method and behaviors expected from a better use of the MQP management system. He/she conveys the meaning of the method
  • 10. He/she guarantees, through observations in the field, that the level of skills in Controlling the Production System towards Excellence and Empowering People are at the expected level, he/she validates, with the managers, the P001, problem solving competencies and the implementation of the Michelin empowerment model in a sustainable manner over time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Min. 5 years’ experience on relevant positions.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Has a good Problem Solving and Collaboration.
  • Has Green Belt Certification would be beneficial.
