Job Description
- A Coffee Roaster is involved in selecting the best beans from the importer and will know the origin of the beans and the location of the plantation where they are grown.
- Control the roasting process to ensure get the required light or dark roast are looking for.
- The Coffee roasters stays on top of production timelines and ensures the beans’ roast quality.
- Create and develop coffee blends by smelling and tasting their product to enhance the coffee’s flavor.
- Supervise and packaging the coffee beans.
- Engaged in networking, marketing, purchasing and repairing equipment, calculating costs, paying bills, and fulfilling orders.
- Assist with creating new recipes and blends of coffee when required.
- Assist with placing/receiving product orders and delivering coffee orders.
- Clean, protect and maintain all equipment.
