Job Description
- Indonesia Corn Brand Manager
- MAJOR TASKS
- Lead efforts in defining current and future corn seed and traits customer and market needs in Indonesia.
- Develop corn growth strategy in Indonesia to strive for leadership position in corn business in Indonesia.
- Drive the execution of corn seed and traits growth plans, define clear milestones with regular evaluation and action to ensure achieving the target
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product offerings, optimize positioning and enhance competitive advantage in the market.
- Lead product launch plans through seamless cross-functional collaboration with local counterparts (e.g., sales, market development, marketing/communication, product supply, regulatory, customer service, agency
- Drive the creation and execution of marketing programs and initiativies, ensure that they address grower needs and and incorporate measurable, trackable metrics for effectiveness
- Drive demand generation efforts through targeted promotions, campaigns and delivering value communication. Define content, tailoring and implementation of integrated grower campaigns aligned with the customer journeys insights .
- Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of go-to-market plan execution; track KPIs (market share, brand awareness, purchase intent, usage) against plan to ensure optimize P&I spending to maximize marketing ROI.
- Contribute to regional portfolio strategy development by providing market intelligence and grower insights that reflect customer needs
- Provide required information and analyses for annual budgeting process
- Capture key marketing insights (farmer & channel partner insight development) and anticipate changes in the grower/channel landscape, behavior or needs and ensure reflection in related go-to-market strategies.
- Build strong, valuable brands and ensure long term-growth, by developing andensuring our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (e.g., events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Oversee crop planning, inventory management, and product stewardship, ensuring product defense mechanisms are continuously enhanced
- QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Crop Science, Marketing, Business Administration, ora related field. – Master’s Degree (MBA) or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or Agricultural Economics is highly preferred.
Industry Experience:
– 8+ years of experience in the agriculture or crop science industry with a focus on seeds, traits, or related sectors. Experience in corn seeds is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in product management, brand management, or marketing roles, ideally at a senior level.
Leadership Experience:
– Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects or product launches.
Market Knowledge:
– Deep understanding of the Indonesian agricultural market, especially corn, and familiarity with local regulations, market conditions, and customer needs.
Strategic Thinking and Planning:
– Proven ability to develop long-term strategies to drive business growth
