Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock levels in all stores, ensuring optimal inventory to meet customer demand without overstocking.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to verify accuracy of inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze inventory reports and trends to make informed decisions regarding stock replenishment and turnover.
- Work closely with store managers and procurement teams to coordinate stock transfers, manage reorders, and address inventory issues.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, update records, and generate reports.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting stock levels, turnover rates, and any concerns.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role; with a focus on the fresh category in e-grocery or retail will be a plus.
- Strong understanding of stock opname.
- Understanding the UOM (Unit of Measure) for each fresh product; is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data and trends.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of stock management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with store teams and management.
- Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
