- Alma Kindergarten, is seeking an inspiring and visionary School Principal to lead our kindergarten program. We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to nurturing the whole child and fostering a love for learning in a joyful and sustainable environment.
Job Inquiries:
- Preferably Montessori Diploma certified
- Previous leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably within a Montessori school.
- Familiarity with the operational aspects of running a school, including budgeting and compliance with education standards.
- Deep understanding of the Montessori philosophy and its practical application.
- Fluent in english
- Familiarity with sustainability concepts and their integration into the curriculum.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and lead a high-performing team of educators.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on community building and stakeholder engagement.
- Commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Job Description:
- Provide overall leadership and management of the kindergarten.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Montessori and Sustainability curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community, fostering an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative school culture
- Passion for sustainability education and experience integrating environmental stewardship into school culture and curriculum.
- Support and mentor teachers in the effective implementation of Montessori methods
- Recruit, train, and supervise kindergarten staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative school culture.
- Communicate effectively with parents and the wider community.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kindergarten.
