Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and review 2D piping spool drawings considering welding method, efficient fabrication techniques and site adjustment for piping installation, etc., (The drafting ability by CAD software is required.)
- Design and review 2D mechanical/equipment drawings and steel structure drawings considering welding method, efficient fabrication techniques and site adjustment for mechanical/equipment installation, etc., (The drafting ability by CAD software is not required.)
- Conducting thorough reviews of fabrication drawings such, equipment drawing, piping support drawing, platform drawing, pipe rack drawings, steel structure drawings for lifting hoist as well as steel fabrication equipment drawings.
- Verifying the designs meet all relevant code, Piping and Mechanical standards and regulations in Indonesia.
- Identifying and documenting with report for any inconsistencies, errors, or areas for improvement in the designs
- Working closely with contract vendors and internal design engineers to address identified issues and implement necessary modifications.
- Providing clear, constructive feedback on designs to improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with project engineers, interface engineers and drafter regarding design review outcomes if needed
Qualifications:
- Fluent business level of verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to effectively interact with others and work independently
- Knowledge of major aspects of Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) as a contractor, preferrable for Wastewater treatment plant contractor
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or science engineering
- Minimum five (5) years-experience relevant working as a Fabrication Engineer or relevant position
- Proficient knowledge in dealing with basic engineering design (BED) drawings, detail engineering design (DED) drawing and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with software such as Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Adobe pdf
- Strong personality, positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines
- Troubleshoot problems and proactively devise solutions to resolve them
- Preferrable for experience working as an Engineer for structural design referring to regulations in Indonesia
- Willing to be placed in Project Site Office, Pluit (North Jakarta)
