Job Description
Audits and inspections:
SIRE/SRC/CLASS and respond to Obs/NCs.
- Perform superintendent visits per ISM, review and close defects for vessels.
- Ensure vessel is in compliance to all regulations from Class/Flag and managed accordance to International conventions and regulations as well as our ISM Code.
- Assist DPA/A.DPA in implementation and maintenance of compliance to ISM and ISPS code procedures.
- Manage crews to troubleshoot situations, assist voyage planning and cargo operations.
- Planning and preparation of docking budget, execution of docking activities within approved budget.
- Prepare and submit reports for managers, directors and management as required.
- Training of crews to be well versed in company’s ISM code, ensure all reports are submitted timely.
- All other tasks delegated by superiors.
- Requirements
- Maritime related Polytechnic or University degree of a reputable school, preferred Degree / Diploma related to Naval Architecture / Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in audit and inspections or as Superintendent.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and familiar with ISM code. Perform audits and inspections e.g. SIRE, SRC, Class survey, Marine vetting and engineering expertise.
