Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for the sustainable development of former mining sites, focusing on economic diversification, land rehabilitation, and alternative energy projects.
- Identify and evaluate potential commercial uses for rehabilitated land, such as agriculture, tourism, real estate, or renewable energy projects.
- Ensure that all business development activities align with environmental sustainability goals and industry regulations.
- Analyze market trends and policies related to the post-mining sector to explore new business models and diversification opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive reports on the environmental and economic impact of post-mining rehabilitation projects for stakeholders and investors.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in mining operations, sustainability projects, or land rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of coal mining regulations and post-mining land-use practices.
- Extensive knowledge of post-mining regulations, land-use policy, and environmental impact assessments.
