Job Description
- Meeting with clients (or management) to develop or refine plans for the project, which may include ornamental plants, ground cover, and landscaping structures (e.g., walkways, water, and lighting).
- Supervise the workers who install and maintain landscaping, including scheduling work crews, planning daily work activities, and monitoring the work being done on daily basis.
- Teaches and enforces safety regulations
- Make budget and monitor job costs and profits (job cost review)
- Manage ordering & inventory of hardscape materials
- Organize delivery of landscape materials to jobsites
- Manage customer sign off documents and receipt of final payment
- Create the design of the landscape
- Estimating costs and negotiating prices for plants, equipment, and employees.
- Responsible for training and evaluate landscape crews.
