JOB SUMMARY:
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms. Monitor vendor performance and address issues related to product quality and delivery.
- Identify and source products that enhance our brand and guest experience. Maintain balanced product assortments in retail stores, focusing on novelty, quality, and profitability. Collaborate with marketing to create engaging displays and promotional strategies.
- Develop purchasing strategies for timely product procurement while minimizing costs. Manage inventory to avoid overstocking and stockouts, using inventory management software. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage budgets for purchasing and inventory. Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform purchasing decisions. Ensure profitability by managing cost of goods sold (COGS) and optimizing pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure efficient product distribution and replenishment. Partner with marketing and events teams to align product offerings with promotions and events. Train retail staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.
- Ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing practices within the supply chain.
EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS, AND SKILLS:
Education:
Min. Bachelor Degree in any major
Language:
Able to speak and write in English (Fluent)
Experience:
- – Min. 5-10 years of experience as a Product and Purchasing Managear in Retail Industries
- – Expert in Import procedure
- – Handling and preparing the gift for customers to reward customers
