Jakarta International Tower, a sister company of Jakarta International College, is currently expanding its business into the F&B industry and is in need of a Kitchen Staff, with the following qualifications:
Job Summary:
- The Kitchen Staff is responsible for preparing and cooking food items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting overall kitchen operations. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items following recipes and standards.
- Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients as needed.
Cooking:
- Cook and present food items in accordance with café standards.
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
Kitchen Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
- Follow proper hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Help with inventory tracking and reporting any shortages to management.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with team members during busy periods.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
