Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team at Indonesia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving sales and expanding our market presence within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and rotating pump equipment sectors. You will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:
Create and implement sales plans that align with the company’s business objectives and growth targets within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and rotating pump equipment markets.
Market Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities, develop new customer segments, and expand the company’s market share in Indonesia.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the industry.
Sales Target Achievement:
Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning, market analysis, and business development activities.
Product Knowledge:
Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s rotating pump equipment and related services, and be able to convey their benefits and features to clients.
Contract Negotiations:
Lead the negotiation of contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sales with new and existing customers.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.
Sales Reporting:
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management on business performance and market trends.
Industry Networking:
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to represent the company and keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or rotating pump equipment industry.
Proven Sales Track Record:
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and expand business networks.
Industry Knowledge:
Depth understanding of project follow up from Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Engineering Stage and good relationship with Engineering Consultants, EPCs and EndUsers in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation industries in Indonesia.
Language Skills:
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
Technical Skills:
Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment i.e pumps, compressors, and related equipment, along with the ability to understand technical API610 specifications and meeting client requirements.
Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Travel:
Willingness to travel within Indonesia to meet clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Skills:
- A network of contacts within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors in Indonesia.
