Job Summary:
- PT. Powertek Indo Asia is seeking a Sales Engineer Industry to cover the Sumatera, Jakarta, or Surabaya areas. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in growing sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. This position involves building strong relationships with existing accounts, handling technical inquiries, and seeking new sales opportunities, particularly in the Oil & Gas and Pulp & Paper industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cover customers in the Sumatera, Jakarta or Surabaya area.
- Plays a vital role in growing sales by engaging with assigned customers, keeping abreast of new product needs and developments.
- Continuously improve relationship with existing accounts by understanding customer’s requirements and expectations.
- Prefer to have experience/understanding of LV or MV Motor products.
- Have supply or networking experience in plants/industries for Oil & Gas and Pulp & paper customers in Sumatera, Jakarta or Surabaya.
- Attends customers’ Request-For-Quotation (RFQ) / Request-For-Proposal (RFP).
- Handles customers, suppliers, and agents for technical and other inquiries.
- Attends sales visits, technical and commercial meetings.
- Seeks prospects for new sales opportunities.
- Prepares sales forecasts and plans.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent with Electrical Engineering Major.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Possessing a good understanding of electrical products and applications ie. LV or MV Motor products.
- Service oriented with strong communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
- Good team player, self‐driven and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in ERP systems like Salesforce.
- Placement in or lived in Sumatera, Jakarta, or Surabaya.
- Willing to travel.
- Prefer to have a vehicle.
