Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager and Quality Control Officer in coordinating and facilitating daily production activities.
- Coordinate with wholesalers, retailers, and suppliers to collect and organize samples, production samples and products for projects, including loose furnishings and other sourced items.
- Participate in site inspections and installations, providing support to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with the Production Administrator to manage administrative tasks, including document filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and tracking stock of materials and supplies.
- Support the Quality Control Officer in documenting and addressing quality issues, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Aid in monitoring project schedules and timelines, updating relevant stakeholders on progress and any deviations.
- Coordinate logistics for project activities, including transportation and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Provide general assistance to the production team as needed, including performing tasks to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations in all production activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Interior designer or equivalent qualification required, additional education or training in production or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a production or construction environment is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of production processes and project management principles.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
