- We are looking for Junior High/High School English Teachers who are passionate and committed.
Responsibilities:
- Teach ONLY up to 30 academic units or 22.5 hours per week
- Create lesson plans for students and have all learning materials ready beforehand
- Ensure that the classroom is orderly and conducive for learning
- Encourage students to maximize speaking in class
- Continuously assess students’ speaking ability
- Create tests for students (junior and high school level)
- Grade student work and tests
- Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the school/s
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- Minimum 25 years of age
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a reputable university with TESOL/CELTA certification OR a Bachelor’s Degree in education
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills towards students, parents and colleagues.
- Able to commit to a minimum of a one-year contract
- Native or bilingual proficiency
