Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all legal activities within the company, including contract negotiation, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
- Conducting legal, privacy and regulatory review on all corporate strategy and plan, products and documents.
- Improving legal processes, implementing risk mitigation projects.
- Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team and other departments on various corporate matters.
- Identify potential legal risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
- Providing ad-hoc legal support as required.
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, managing regulatory inquiries.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Placement:
Balikpapan, East Kalimantan (Domicile of Balikpapan’s Region is preferred).
Job Requirements:
- Indonesia-law qualified lawyer.
- In-house lawyer with minimum 5 years experience.
- Knowledge of complex legal matters & regulations.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework and experience working with regulators are essential.
- Fast learner, technically strong, and highly adaptable individual.
- A commercial and practical mindset.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills.
