As a Project Specifier, you will collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure smooth project execution from planning to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare technical specifications for projects in line with company standards and relevant regulations.
- Identify the project’s material and component needs and ensure they meet the specified requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify that technical specifications are correctly implemented during the construction process.
- Select and recommend appropriate materials, products, and technologies based on project needs and market availability.
- Review and revise specifications as needed, in response to design changes or project requirements.
- Manage communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability and procurement of materials in line with specifications.
- Review and verify technical documents and project drawings to ensure they align with the established specifications.
- Provide technical advice and support to the team during construction regarding the implementation of specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in project specifications or construction management.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and construction documents.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in coordinating with project teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
