Job Description
JIHD Group is hiring Interior Designer with the responsibilities below:
- Planning, designing, and overseeing the creation or renovation of interior spaces to make them aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe.
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules for construction and furnishing.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and project team to design environments for office/hotel/residential and other interior settings.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and innovations.
- Prepare project cost estimates and monitor the budget.
- Address any issues or delays during the implementation phase.
- Source furniture, materials, and décor elements.
- Manage timelines and oversee installation to ensure the design is executed correctly.
- Ensure that projects meet building codes, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects.
- Preferably have working experience in the consultant/developer/contractor industry.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Twinmotion)
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin language skills are a plus
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
