- About the challenges
- As a Procurement Parts Specialist (Mandarin Speaker), you will be responsible for the global sourcing and management of e2w components, with a primary emphasis on China. This role involves identifying and securing optimal suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to MAKA’s procurement procedures, and achieving the most competitive pricing. Additionally, this position entails managing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and cultivating strong supplier relationships through on-site visits and regular engagement.
- Is this you?
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the EV industry
- Strong preference for candidates with Chinese translation and interpretation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin (minimum HSK 4/5) & English
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Asana
- Chinese Literature majors with Chinese and Indonesian language proficiency are encouraged to apply
What a day to day for you will like:
Global Sourcing and Supplier Management:
Source E2W components globally, with a focus on China. Secure optimal suppliers in a timely manner, adhering to MAKA’s procurement procedures and achieving the best possible pricing
Technical Coordination:
Facilitate close collaboration between suppliers and R&D engineers. Ensure effective communication and technical discussions to guarantee purchased and customized products meet MAKA’s quality standards and requirements
Purchase Order Management:
Process purchase orders through the ERP system and monitor purchasing progress. Track supplier production schedules to ensure timely delivery as planned
Supplier Performance and Optimization:
Conduct regular supplier reviews and audits to enhance supplier performance. Optimize supplier localization and supply chain to provide superior and competitive procurement support to the company
Supplier Engagement:
Visit supplier facilities overseas and host on-site supplier visits as needed
