Job Description
- The Operations Director will be reporting directly to the shareholders of the organization. The successful candidate will be fully in charge of handling the group’s forestry logging operations / wood processing plants and its future investment plans whilst maintaining high industry standards.

- Description
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in logging and overall forestry operations, including supply chain management.
- Demonstrated expertise in wood processing activities such as sawmilling, woodworking, and the production of veneers, plywood, and wood pellets.
- Deep understanding of forestry laws, industry regulations, and sustainability practices, ensuring compliance with environmental standards in the forestry and wood sectors.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale operations and teams, with a focus on both strategic planning and efficient day-to-day execution.
- Familiarity with Kalimantan’s forestry landscape and local industry practices is highly desirable.
- Profile
- A minimum of 15 years experience within the forestry industry
- Demonstrate comprehensive Forestry operations experience with a deep understanding of supply chain logistics and management within the forestry sector.
- Extensive experience overseeing the entire wood processing lifecycle, including high-level expertise in sawmilling, woodworking, and the production of value-added wood products such as veneers, plywood, and wood pellets.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary forestry and wood industry regulations, coupled with a thorough understanding of environmental compliance, sustainability certifications, and international forestry standards.
- Proven track record in formulating and executing strategic plans, while simultaneously providing visionary operational leadership in complex, multi-faceted forestry or related business environments.
