Position Summary:

The Operations Manager of the Theme Park is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the park to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable experience for guests. This role includes managing staff, coordinating maintenance and safety protocols, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Operations Manager will collaborate with various departments to enhance park performance and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the theme park, ensuring all areas are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage operational staff, fostering a positive and effective team environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, implementing safety protocols for staff and guests.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Guest Experience:

  • Monitor guest services and experiences, addressing issues and feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Services team to ensure a high standard of customer service.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Assist in preparing and managing the operational budget, monitoring expenses to ensure cost control.
  • Manage inventory and resources efficiently to minimize waste.

Maintenance Coordination:

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure rides, attractions, and facilities are well-maintained and operational.
  • Schedule routine maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime for attractions.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare operational reports for management, analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the theme park or entertainment industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on employee engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
