- Develop and execute engineering strategies to ensure high-quality production of crystallized, brown, icing, and liquid sugars, while optimizing operations for productivity, safety, and sustainability. Lead a team and driving continuous improvement, the Engineering Division Manager plays a key role in advancing the company’s goal of becoming a leading sugar producer in Indonesia.

- Description
- Drive the Engineering Division’s vision to establish the company as the benchmark for excellence in sugar refining in Indonesia, aligning engineering goals with the company’s strategic objectives of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
- Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge engineering technologies that improve production efficiency and product quality, keeping the company at the forefront of the sugar refining industry.
- Promote and integrate environmentally sustainable practices within all engineering operations. Implement green initiatives that reduce the company’s environmental footprint, in line with regulatory standards and the company’s commitment to sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth, supporting the company’s market leadership. Develop a 3-year roadmap focusing on operational and engineering advancements.
- Optimize operational processes to increase production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee projects aimed at reducing operational costs by 15% within 3 years through investments in energy-efficient equipment and the use of cost-effective materials.
- Lead the adoption of automation technologies to increase production efficiency by 20% over 3 years, ensuring the team is trained and equipped to work with advanced systems.
- Implement at least three green engineering projects over the next 3 years to reduce the company’s environmental impact by 10%.
- Ensure all engineering activities meet industry regulations, safety protocols, and company standards, fostering a culture of compliance and safety across the division.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and upskilling to meet the evolving demands of the industry. Oversee the successful implementation of initiatives such as the “SATU – The Way We Work” program.
- Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of experience as an Engineering Manager
- 4 years in a senior-level role such as Engineering Division Manager or Senior Manager.
- Experienced in a refinery or manufacturing setting (F&B with complex machinery and continuous processing, Chemical Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Paper & Pulp industries).
- Strong expertise in maintenance management, project management, and engineering design.
- Proficiency in industrial automation, process optimization, and lean manufacturing practices.
- High level of accountability with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
