Job Responsibilities:
Lead Fabric Performance:
- Oversee fabric quality and performance, ensuring suppliers meet the required standards.
- Manage and evaluate fabric supplier performance through detailed scorecards.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a key liaison between fabric suppliers, the MD team, HO fabric team, and customers to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
Fabric Mill Oversight:
- Conduct regular visits to fabric mills, working closely with them to prevent fabric defects from reaching the factory.
- Implement solutions at the source to avoid issues with fabric quality.
Quality Management:
- Oversee the entire fabric inspection process, including shrinkage and shade consistency.
- Ensure that all quality management practices align with company standards.
Accountability for Unshipped Garments:
- Take full responsibility for reducing fabric-related issues that may cause delays or prevent garment shipments at Business Unit.
Experience Required:
7-10 years
Education:
Bschelor or Master’s degree (MS) in Textile Engineering
