- Oversee the distribution of fuel to all vehicles, machinery, and equipment used in mining operations, ensuring continuous and efficient fuel supply.
- Develop fuel delivery schedules to ensure that operational needs are met without delays, optimizing fuel logistics to minimize downtime.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of fuel attendants, truck drivers, and logistics personnel involved in fuel handling and distribution.
- Prepare detailed reports on fuel usage, efficiency, and cost control for management review, providing insights to improve fuel efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, mechanical engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- 3-5 years of experience in fuel management, logistics, or fleet operations, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Experience in managing fuel storage, distribution, and handling processes, with knowledge of fuel types used in mining equipment.
